Driver problems

I've been using Adaptec Easy CD Creater 4.0 for a while now with absolutely no problems. Now, all of a sudden, I'm getting an error message that says "Easy CD Creator cannot create audio or mixed-mode CDs, or work with audio files since the Windows MCI Sound driver is not loaded. Please install the driver via the Windows Control Panel. "

I've checked the Device Manager and everything seems to be working fine. I've checked update sites and can't find a "Windows MCI Sound" driver anywhere.

Any suggestions? Please help! I can't live without the ability to burn CDs!!!!!!
