Driver for HP1120C

Why does the XP driver for the HP1120C printer not provide all the facilities that the driver used in W98 gives = two sided printing, tablet, banner, zoomsmart, booklet etc ?.
I have tried every combination to force XP to accept the W98 drivers with no luck.

 

The XP WHQL drivers sometimes don't provide all the functionality of the manufacturer's drivers.

You could always try a Windows 2000 driver to see how it works:

Generally speaking, drivers from the Win9x family won't work with the NT family. You should avoid the temptation to even try them for your own sake.

The only other suggestion I have is to try installing the drivers in compatibility mode. I would try the Win 2000 ones first since I think the chances of success with the 9x ones are small.
