    Welcome to WindowsBBs :)

According to this thread the driver and software can be installed in compatability mode ....

Windows 7 - Genius Colorpage Vivid 1200xe driver for win7

    This driver may work .....

    http://www.bioticaindia.com/genius-colorpage-vivid-1200xe.html

This article claims to give a method ....

Install Genius ColorPage Vivid Scanner 1200XE in Windows 7

Use Google Translate or similar - article in Spanish

If the above methods fail try a free trial of Vuescan - your scanner is not listed, but it may work.
You have 2 possible options .....

If you are running Windows 7 Professional or above you can use Windows XP Mode - a free download from MS including a copy of Windows XP Pro - this runs in a virtual machine.

If you are running Windows 7 Home Premium you can download Virtual PC 2007 which AFAIK runs in 7 and install a copy of Windows XP - not provided - within the virtual machine.

Whether or not the scanner will work from a virtual machine I have no experience or idea.

    Good luck :)
