I accidentally deleted \windows\system32\drivers\intelide.sys, during disc clean up.
Where can I locate this driver so I can burn a disc and install it on my desktop ?

If you have a Vista install disk you should be able to do a repair.

If not you might try downloading and a possibly extraction or reinstallation of this update: (it includes intelide.sys)
An update that improves the performance, responsiveness, and reliability of Windows Vista is available

Additional nfo as quoted from http://www.experts-exchange.com/OS/Microsoft_Operating_Systems/Windows/Windows_Vista/Q_23166030.html
No feedback from poster so I have no idea how difficult or how many hoops you'll have to jump through.

As stated from AKAJohnDoea vista repair may be easier but I am including the above in case this isn't possible.
