I used Drive image 2002 to create my Windows 2000 hard drive image from an AT computer, then I restored it to a computer that is ATX, the restore went fine, but now on this ATX when I shut down I get the message "it is now safe to turn off your computer" instead of just shutting off.
    How can I fix that?

This is because you dont have ACPI installed. The way I fixed it is to make the apropriate changes in the BIOS and then boot from the W2K CD choose install and then reinstall windows over the old install. It shoud be OK then. Or just leave it like it is. Doesnt hurt anything

I have sp3 and all the updates already installed on it, would I run into problems installing w2k over it from CD?

I would create a new W2K boot disk with sp3 slipstreamed into it.
and use it. I am not sure what would happen in your situation. I would expect it to reinstall OK or it would ask for sp3. I dont see it causing issues. But as is the case in all situations of tasks like this create a backup image. If your not sure about making a new CD go to http://www.bink.nu/Bootcd/default.htm for instructions.
