Downloads freezing

    I've had a problem with downloads just randomly freezing in the middle of the download. Once it freezes i have to restart it from scratch and it still freezes up.
    It happens on almost everysite from microsoft sites to download.com. This does it on all the computers in my house.
    Any suggestions?

    A download manager may be what you need. There are quite a few free ones. Some browsers have a download manager, e.g. mozilla suite.
