downloading with xp

    after trying to download anything I cannot get any web page to load. After disconnecting the internet I sometimes have problems with reconnection and if it does connect after several attempts it is at a very slow speed:confused:

    Can you tell us how you connect to the internet? What kind of modem do you have? Have you run any spyware scans lately? Are you downloading from Kazaa?
