Downloading Subject Lines Only

Is there any way OE can be set to download only a list of subject lines and senders so that the list can be reviewed and only selected emails downloaded in full? When using expensive mobile email, this would avoid having to download all emails, including those with bulky attachments, before I could read smaller and perhaps more urgent emails.

Hello alistair, I don't think you can do that with just OE. There is a program available called "Mailwasher" from Firetrust, which I believe, is located in New Zealand. It is free to try, and cheap to buy. It downloads the header info without downloading the actual e-mail. You can then decide what e-mails you want to keep and what to delete. Try it, I think you will find it does what you want.
