   Whenever I try to download pictures off of the internet into my computer,the only options I get are either as an art file or as an bitmap, even thouge the pictures are jpeg. Do I need to change my settings or something ? What am I doing wrong? whats the deal? Please help

   It's been a long time since that little problem cropped up
   
   I think you will find a solution here ....
   
   Internet Explorer saves images as bitmaps (.bmp Files)
   
   BTW .art files are an AOL speciality - guess you may be on AOL.
