Downloading From Web Pages

    When i download a video clip from web pages using internet explorer, how do i set it so the clip does not just load and then open? I want to save them to my hard drive or a serpate disc.
    Right now when i click on the video to save it, it just automatically starts to download and then will open with out asking if i want to save it to a specific location.

    Many of these are designed to be unsavable. You can still find the clips sometimes in your temporary internet files (sometimes with a different name, so if the clip is an mpg, you should search the files for any mpg to find it), by right-clicking a Quicktime window and saving the clip, or by using Total Recorder:
