Download problems with DAP

Dear Friend,
In order to continue with downloads later , I installed DAP on my computer . However , the DAP worked successfully till I download 175 MB of data of 185 MB. However , later when I restared my computer , the computer
shows that the resume has not been supported and again it starts downloading the software from initially .
So unnecessarily it wastes the download . I knows that this is a virus activity . Is there any setting to prevent this from happening .
Also , here my computer has been being accessed by unauthorized users and they are spreading number of viruses into the computer . Recently yesterday the list gone upto 140 viruses . This all has been done with the said of the worst catagory view peoples where do I stay.
Please help me to resolve the issue .
