DOWNLOAD ACCELERATOR PLUS troubleshooting

Hello , i'm using netscape 7 pr 1, i'm a french user, i use win2k, i've uninstalled DAP but the assignation for downloading with DAP is ever here for netscape, how can i remove the assignation of DAP , i know that it's in the registery , but i don't know where exactely, i've seen a message for win 98 (http://home.att.net/~cherokee67/nstsdlmgrcurse.html ), but this key is not here with win2k, can someone help me please ???

Did you do a search in the Registry for Automation Protocols? Although I know very little about W2K, I would think that the Registry would be similar to Windows 98SE.

If you haven't done a Registry search:
Start|Run
Type: regedit
Click on Edit
Select: Find
Type: Automation Protocols
Insert a tick in all boxes in the Find window

You might also try the DAP site. I checked out the FAQ page, and they do support Netscape 6, but Netscape 7 wasn't listed. However, on the Home Page, it does list Netscape 7.x for compatibility with DAP. There is also an email address for Support. I would definitely send them an email. :

ok, thanks, i've found the key Automation Protocols in 'Netscape Navigator' registery but in the faq i've read it was explain that there must be keys 'http=' and 'ftp=' , they are used by DAP to catch links, but in my 'Automation Protocols' i have :

NAME TYPE DATAS
(default) REG_SZ (not defined)
ymsgr REG_SZ Yauto.NSAuto.1

that's all.

I try to contact the DAP support , thanks a lot for your help.
