downgraded icons? my custom desktop is now 32 bit?

    my desktop icons are all low resolution now and i want to get the original icons back i have no clue how to change the format back. any help?​

    I am somewhat puzzled by your statement 'my desktop is now 32 bit'. 32 bit colour is the highest setting generally available.

    Have you checked under Control Panel > Display Properties that you are running 32 bit colour? - and what monitor resolution is indicated in that same window?

    Come back with that info. and we may be able to go further.

    Maybe this is what you're looking for. Right click on the desktop, choose properties>appearance and then on the effects button. Make sure the line that says use large icons isn't checked.
