    Can any one please tell me if I can install windows 98 over windows ME please?

    I doubt you can. You'll probably get a message about having a newer OS installed.

    Hi Gerd,
    Not easy - you would be looking at a reformat and re-install ...
    I have seen a fix that will change a file so that Win doesn't know what
    version it is. So you can install 95/98/98SE over ME.
    I cannot find it anywhere - maybe some-one else can help.
