Windows Vista Downgrade from Vista to XP

    I need a new computer and do not want Vista. Can Vista be removed and Win XP placed on the computer, (probably HP, Emachines, Gateway or like machines)?
    Please note I do not want to argue te benfits of Vista or the bad points of XP. I just want a simple answer on downgrading a new computer.

    Dell still sells pc's with XP....

    And yes you can spend an additioanl $150.00 for XP and install it on any pc.
