Dos promt code for windows 98

    My roommate got fancy and accidentally deleted my name as the owner of the windows software on my desktop computer. Now I have been kicked out of windows, and can get no further than the dos prompt for windows 98. What is the code I use to start up windows again? Do I have to buy a whole new program now?
