Don't Understand Sharepoint Team Services

    Hi,

    I have several Office 2003 Updates (KB923097, KB929058 and KB929060 that are for the following:

    Sharepoint Team Services
    Sharepoint Server
    Sharepoint Serives Site
    Sharepoint portal Server

    Can anyone tell me what this is and if I use Offcie 2003 whether or not I need to install these updates. I am completely lost regarding this stuff.

    Hi notishwar,

    Not as far as I know. I just go online and visit certain websites, like this one.
    What is a sharepoint server??? Does Office 2003 need to go there?

    Sorry, but I really know nothing about this.

    A brief description of SharePoint can be found here:

    If you don't use SharePoint you shouldn't need these updates. The updates deal with fixing the inability to save certain Office 2003 documents from within SharePoint.
