I've looked at some of the solutions using Google but nothing works for me on this one.

Our AD Domain (Windows 2003) is called lets say aaa.bbb.ccc. Our DNS domain suffix is yyy.com, ie there is no relation between them.

I've joined a Win7 PC to the aaa.bbb.ccc domain and get the error "The security database on the server does not have a computer account for this workstation trust relationship ".

As per some suggestions I've seen I've also joined it just to aaa

    Any suggestions?

Domain scenarios are not supported in this beta, so I'm doubtfull if you could even get it to work.

Cheers for that, it's just that the error appears on a few Googles for Vista SP1.

Try deleting the computer from the AD, and re-adding it.

Another resolution I came across was to remove the existing domain level trust and create a new forest level trust.

Thanks for the comments. A colleague of mine has just put Win7 on a dual boot laptop and doesn't have the issue. I'll just assume I've done something odd for the mo.
