I want my pictures in Outlook Express 6 to go as attachments only and NOT be inserted into the message. I can't, for the life of me, find the option that makes this happen, but I'll bet it's there. Please, someone?

aks--Have not tried it myself, but click OE Tools|Options|Send tab|Mail sending format/HTML Settings|uncheck "Send Pictures with messages "|OK|Apply if active. I suspect setting the Mail sending format to Plain Text might also do it.
The default settings for OE are such that attachments of any .jpg, .gif or .bmp files automatically display themselves as pictures in the email in addition to being attached. Either of the above changes might alter that.

In OE open a new message window. Go to the insert menu and choose file attachment. Browse to the folder where your pictures are saved and select the picture you want to insert. Then click the attach button.
