    Welcome to WindowsBBS buttons636 :)

You should print this out and/or save it to text where you can access it in safe mode.

Go to start>run and type services.msc. Locate Miscrosoft Updates Service 4 in the list, right click and select properties. Stop the service and set to disabled, click apply and OK out.

Download CWShredder 2.0 from here. Save it to the desktop. Double click to install.

Download Ad-aware SE 1.05, install and check for updates. Link in my signature.

Scan again with HijackThis and place a check next to the following entries. Close ALL other windows and click fix.

Right click My Computer and choose properties. On system restore tab, check the box to turn off. OK out.

Go to start>run and type msconfig, hit enter. On the boot.ini tab, check the box next to /safeboot and OK. Yes to restart. This will restart your computer in safe mode. Logon to your user account.

Now in safe mode, you will need to show hidden files and folders, as well as system files and extensions for known file types.

Search the drive for the files dsq70.exe and dskntz.exe. Delete if found.
Open C:\WINDOWS and delete the files zcjmz.exe, wupdt.exe and farmmext.exe.
    Open C:\WINDOWS\system32 and delete the files saie.exe, winupdtl.exe, eyilhci.exe, vuhmfc.exe, adl_dh.exe, pfzuvc.exe and kalvdks32.exe, and the folder wsxsvc.
Open C:\Program Files and delete the folders dlsmgr, CSBB, AutoUpdate, PartyPoker, CxtPls and VBouncer.
    Open C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB and rename realsched.exe to realsched.old
Open C:\Temp if present, select all and delete.
Open C:\Windows\Temp, select all and delete.
Open C:\Windows\Prefetch, select all and delete.
Open C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\temp, select all and delete. Do this for all usernames.
Open the control panel, then internet options and delete the temporary internet files, checking the box for offline content. Then open the Java Plug-in, click the cache tab and then clear.
Open CWShredder from the new shortcut on the desktop, close ALL other windows and click fix.
Open Ad-aware and run in full scan mode. Delete all it finds.
Open My Computer, right click Local disk C: and choose properties, then disk cleanup. Check all boxes except compress old files and OK.
    Rebot back into Windows.

Go to the Sun Java Website and update your JRE. Current is 1.4.2_07

Scan your PC with RAV. If any files are infected, click the report button then copy and paste it here.

Run another HijackThis scan and post the log.

Thanks so much for all your help. Here's the RAV scan and it's followed by the HijackThis log. Also, I didn't delete PartyPoker because I downloaded and use that program.

Umm...one more thing is I dunno if everything I did before did this but I can't seem to access my Yahoo toolbar in Internet Explorer no matter how many times I try to download it or upgrade it. It's weird...it's not even an option in the Toolbars menu. Any help with this would be great too. Thanks again!

Download The Killbox from here: http://tools.zerosrealm.com/killbox.zip

Scan again with HijackThis and place a check next to the following entries. Close ALL other windows and click fix.

R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [zcfeskes] C:\WINDOWS\System32\zcfeskes.exe

Reboot to safe mode, logon to the Admin account. Make sure hidden files and folders are set to view.

Open C:\Documents and Settings\LocalService\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5, select all from edit on the toolbar and delete.

Open C:\Documents and Settings\mm\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5, select all from edit on the toolbar and delete.

Open C:\WINDOWS\bundles and see if there are any files other than the infected ones. If not, or nothing there appears to be needed, delete the entire folder. Do the same for the C:\WINDOWS\LastGood folder.

Locate and delete the files found in the RAV scan.

If the files won't delete or you can't find them, unzip the Killbox to its own folder, then open and double-click on Killbox.exe to run it. In the "Paste Full Path of File to Delete" box, copy and paste the following:

    C:\WINDOWS\bundles\HelperInstaller.exe

Don't click any of the buttons though, instead please click on the Action menu and choose "Delete on Reboot ". On the next screen, click on the File menu and choose "Add File ". The filename and path should show up in the window. If that's successful, choose the Action menu and select "Process and Reboot ". DO NOT allow reboot when prompted. Instead, repeat the above steps for the following and reboot when done.

    C:\WINDOWS\bundles\saie1101.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\bundles\shopinst.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\bundles\SSK_B5.EXE
    C:\WINDOWS\bundles\videoinst.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\LastGood\farmmext.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\djgcwxvo.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\iuybsbdp.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\jgtjdscr.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\qykqjest.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\tqkcsyzs.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\vsegtyup.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\zcfeskes.exe

**Note: If you used the /safeboot option to get into safe mode, uncheck the box before using the Killbox, but do not allow restart when exiting msconfig.

Back in Windows, empty the recycle bin. Update Ad-aware and run a full scan. Delete all it finds. Run another RAV scan and post the results, as well as a new HJT log.

Try uninstalling the Yahoo toolbar from add/remove, then re-install.

Go to start>run and type services.msc. Locate Miscrosoft Updates Service 5 in the list, right click and select properties. Stop the service and set to disabled, click apply and OK out.

Scan again with HijackThis and place a check next to the following entries. Close ALL other windows and click fix.

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {200EAC0F-FFB3-62A2-BA5C-A2D35E304AE8} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\kicumjjs.dll

Reboot to safe mode and open C:\WINDOWS\System32. Delete the file msupd5.exe, delete the contents of C:\Windows\Prefetch and empty the recycle bin. Reboot back into windows.

It's very important that you install an Antivirus program, and a firewall is highly recommended also. There are free programs available for download such as AVG and Zone Alarm, which are both used by many folks here.

Do you have Spybot Version 1.3? If not, download it from my signature and install. Allow it to load SD Helper. Open it up and click mode on the toolbar, then advanced mode. Click immunize in the left pane, then immunize again, this time from above with the green + beside it. Click the link below that for SpywareBlaster, download, install, enable all protection and update. Check for updates regularly. Then, still in Spybot, click tools button, then IE tweaks and at least lock the HOSTS file.
    Then download and install IESpyad.

That will give you some added layers of protection against unwanted parasites.

Once the above has been done, reboot and create another HijackThis log and post it please.

Yeah, I already have Spybot but I did download Zone Alarm because I really don't want to go through this process again. So thanks for that recommendation. Here's my HJT log:

Fix these with HJT and post a new log.

Installing Zone Alarm is a step in the right direction, but you still need an AntiVirus program. Try the AVG I linked to.

You should open Spybot (advanced mode) and click the tools button, then Resident, and check the box for SDHelper.

Log looks clean. Re-enable system restore and create a manual restore point.

I can't seem to delete the two files that you told me to download, so the HJT log still looks about the same. And I downloaded the AVG program that you recommended.

I have attached a zip file to this post. Download and unzip, then double click the reg file inside. Click yes to merge the information to the registry. Reboot and run another HJT scan.

Try rebooting to safe mode, logon to the Administrator account and run the BHORem.reg again. Boot back into Windows and see if those entries are still present in a HJT scan.
