The windows are displaying too large. I can not adjust in settings, because the window is so big that I can't click on apply or o.k. Is there a way to solve this? Thanks.

Either reboot in safemode and make your display changes while there or use a combination of the keybord tab key and arrows to choose 800x600 or higher and try hitting the key combo of ALT A to apply the setting. Hopefully this will allow you to hit the okay button to keep the setting.

Sorry about being a little vague on the keybord instructions, I am using winXP and my tabbing may be different, so any "step by step" instructions would differ.

What caused the display snafu? Additional instructions may be needed if this is beyond a settings issue. You (device manager) must have correct display adapter and monitor for your system to have all the display options available.

Open Display Properties>Settings tab and adjust the screen resolution to 800 X 600 or higher. Don't click on anything else in that window, just press the Tab key exactly four (4) times. That will tab to the OK button so then press the Enter key to apply the change and close the Display Properties window.

Hit CTRL-ESCAPE to bring up the menu. Change your settings in control panel/display

    UPDATED................

This problem is a done deal. I received a nice email from "sarasota" reporting that the tabbing and "ALT A" method worked. Her display is back to normal. I'm sure Miz's method would have worked also so we can all take a fair share of her "thanks ".

    TO smokinjoe.....
Using control panel method to get to the "Display Properties" would still have left her with panes to big to get to the buttons at the bottom. Your still working with the same "Tabs and Panels ". This is just another way to call them up. Your willingness to help is still much appreciated... :)
