I've got a Dell Latitude CPi with the docking station C II. My screen will at times get a staticy problem looking like something you might see on an oscilloscope, and I think it's only happened when on the docking station.

Can't find a driver the docking station at Dell's site so assume none is needed. XP has my display listed as default monitor - twice - for some reason.

The display adaptor is listed on devmgr as a NeoMagic MagicGraph256AV driver.

Any ideas on how I can fix this?

    Hi Marty,
If you can't make it reproducible, that is run the system the same way and make it happen again (like running a graphics dependent program), I might think it was a bad connection. Check the connections for laptop/docking station interface. (Does the laptop seat correctly ever time?)
Check the monitor connector for bent pins (some pins may be missing, this is normal). To clean the connectors you could spray using a pure form of alcohol or Contact Cleaner. Make certain it is completely dried before reconnecting.

There are some simple graphics tests in dxdiag. Enter dxdiag in the command line.
