Hy, everybody. I kind of have a common issue, but I'm not sure, as I haven't fully understood this string of discussion.

I have recently bought a computer with Windows 7 installed on it, and an LG monitor. I have had problems with the monitor as it doesn't display the image correctly. I even changed it with a Samsung monitor just to make sure the LG works OK.

I have tried the following: changed resolution to the native one, changed display colors, text settings, brightness, contrast, refresh rate, etc., everything in the Nvidia control panel of my graphic card and on the monitor menu, even autosetting, and still, the effect is the same: after only aprox. 15 min, I get dizzy and have the motion sickness simptoms because of the monitor image (it's something like the effect from the old CRT monitors with a small refresh rate).

I even removed everything magnetic around the monitor (i thought there might be interferences, although i don't think so...), still, the problem is the same. With both monitors. And both monitors work perfectly on the computer at home, with XP installed...

I'm sure it has smth to do with W7, but, I don't know any details. Can you suggest some solutions?
    Thanks.

PS: I forgot to mention, both monitors are plug-and-play LCDs...

    Welcome to WindowsBBS :)

Please do not tag onto an existing thread - your problem is totally unrelated to OP's problem of calibration software compatibility. Always start a new thread with your specific problem.

I have moved your post to a new thread.

    And ....

Reading a block of text is not easy and many will pass over your post for that reason. Although you have paragraphed your post it is much clearer and easier to read when spaced out as per my edit.

Which suggests a driver/hardware problem on the new computer.

Have you checked that you have the correct/latest nVidia drivers loaded? Go to NVIDIA Driver downloads and selection option 2 and allow nVidia to check.

I have done what you said on Friday, I have updated the nVidia drivers. I have waited until today to work a little bit on the computer to see if the effect is the same. It's still there...

Pete, I have checked and updated the nVidia drivers, and it still doesn't solve the problem. Do you have any other ideas?
    Thank you.

The only further comment I have following your initial post ....
is that the graphics card itself may be faulty.

As you say the computer is new and presumably under warranty I would contact the supplier. The display should be rock solid.
