Is there a way to display all folders and subfolders across a number of different drives in one view? So, for example, let's say I have folder ABC in
Drive C, and Folder XYZ in Drive D. I want to display the folders in
both drives at the same time (not in separate windows), so that one column would have the files and subfolders, and another column containnig the drive and name of the folders (as per my example ABC and XYZ).

    Thanks

This app will do what you're wanting:

2xExplorer Z1 is a Norton Commander-like dual-pane file manager. Easy navigation and tool loading makes it a good replacement for Windows Explorer. It is suitable for advanced and novice users alike. Features include thumbnails for previewing images, HTML, and Microsoft Office documents; the ability to run commands (even DOS) from the address bar; more bookmarks; batch file generation with counters for mass file renaming; exclusion filters for more precise item selection; better toolbars; and an improved layout manager.

Thanks Steve. So, I guess this can't be done with XPs File Explorer?

I am not sure that I understand what you are suggesting, nor does it appear that you understood my question. Let me clarify: Let’s say that I have folder ABC on Drive C and Folder XYZ on drive D. I want to view the contents of both ABC and XYZ in one window (not two windows, tabs, or trees). So the resulting window would have both the contents of the ABC and XYZ folders (files and subfolders) together. The window would ideally look like this

    Name | Drive and Folder
    <Folder 1> | <C:ABC>
    <Folder 1> | <D:XYZ>
    File 1 | <D:XYZ>
    File 1 | <C:ABC>
    File 2 | <D:XYZ>
    File 3 | <D:XYZ>

The closest you will get in Widows is as Steve indicated - open 2 instances of Explorer and tile vertically.

That's as close to one window as you will get, albeit 2 windows on one screen (screenshot)
