I have not been keeping up on computer "security/tech stuff" lately so this may be old news for some/many people here. However, I searched this forum about this issue and came up empty, so here goes. :)

Comodo continues to issue certificates to known Malware

    • This is a very lengthy thread at Comodo's forums. The link to the thread provided in Mike Burgess' blog is broken so I dug up the thread and posted the (currently) correct link here.

Those who read this General Security forum at Windows BBS may have been around long enough to know one should not trust a website simply because the URL begins with "https ". However, I suppose some (many?) people who trust Comodo might be duped into trusting a website simply because it has a SSL certificate issued by Comodo.

Anyway, it appears to me Comodo has tarnished their shiny reputation a bit.
