I installed an anti-spam program (Postal Inspector) which integrated with my Outlook Express 5. After finding that it slowed down things too much I un-installed the program. Unfortunately some emails continue to be blocked and sent automatically to my 'deleted items' folder even though the anti-spam program is no longer installed. This means that I have to check my 'deleted items' folder each time in case the wrong emails are sent there automatically. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I might totally eradicate this 'blocking' action? Many thanks.

    My best guess - I'm running OE 6 ..........

Message > Message Rules > Blocked Senders List and clear it.

Otherwise look here - Inside Outlook Express

The 'Blocked Senders List' contains no names. Whatever 'Postal Inspector' did, OE still sends some emails it considers to be spam to the 'Deleted Items' folder. How to stop it doing this, even though I've uninstalled 'Postal Inspector', I don't know.

Thanks for the link, though. I've created a message rule to send ALL mails to a second 'Inbox'. I'll see if that might work and report back when the results are conclusive.

    Thanks again ;)

If that doesn't work try a repair of IE - this will include OE.

Add/Remove Programs > Internet Explorer > Remove - should give the option to Repair.
