Disable Windows Live

    Windows Live has taken over my Win 7 machine!

    When I select a link to e-mail someone, I get windows live. Can I make G-mail the default instead?
    I also get Win Live popping up on startup. Win Live is annoying, I'd like to dump it.

    OK, step one is taken care of...e-mail links pop up via the google toolbar.

    Step 2. When booting up I automatically get windows live messenger. I want to disable ALL of windows live. How?

    As Windows Live is an optional download and not installed by default you, or the comp maker, must have installed it :) You should be able to uninstall all Windows Live components through Programs & Features.....

    How do I Uninstall Windows Live Messenger?
