I'm strictly a home-user and therefore don't need the PIconStartup.exe (privacyiconclient.exe) which is a running process in task manager. Apparently it's an Intel .exe used for a network. Is there a way that I can disable it at startup? In Ccleaner or in add/remove it's not shown.

It can be found here C:\Program Files (x86)\Intel\Intel(R) Management Engine Components\IMSS\piconstartup.exe

    Thank you.

First try msconfig - type msconfig into the Search Box below All Programs and double click on msconfig.exe

In msconfig go to start up tab and if present disable it.
