disable logon stop

Win:XP-pro, I'am the only user on my computer and would like to prevent windows from stopping at boot process for me to click on my icon/name
"no password used here" only to further continue booting to the destop screen......Den..................

 

Click Start-Run
type or (copy and paste) the next line

control userpasswords2
Click ok or hit enter

Clear the Users must enter a username and password to use this computer

click apply

You will get a login screen

enter the username and click ok.

Reboot to test
