Direcway satellite system

We have been on the internet for about 6 years and our dial up ISP has degraged each year to the point where we are willing to try anything. We are too far from any cable or broadband service hookup for them to even consider us as customers. We're now looking into the new DW-6000 Direcway system. It's supposed to feature broadband download speed and 56 to 128 kpbs upload speed. I would do it in a second except I read it's not all they say it is and requires a one year contract and 600 dollars to purchase the satellite equipment. I have no problem with signing a contract and buying the equipment if it's what they say it is. Does anyone on this board have any knowledge of the system and it's performance? I know the earlier models had problems, but I need info on this newer system. Thanks, Jack
