Direct X Updates

    On microsoft website in windows update. it says a recommended update is Direct X 8.1, should I install this on my computer? Where do I go to find what version of Direct X I currently have?

    Click Start - Run and type "DXDIAG" (without the quotes).

    If you don't already have 8.1, I'd suggest that it would be a worthwhile upgrade.

    Thanks Brett. I found the current version of directX. I have 7.1 so I will make that upgrade. Thanks again for the help.
