difference Celeron and Pentium 4

    What are the differences between a Celeron processor and an equivalent Mhz Pentium 4 ?

    excellent article

    Zephyr,

    excellent article. As I was telling 1 70 year old uncle of mine who is forced to buying a computer. However he has now discovered that he can play the card game "bridge" on the computer . Now the computer has "some" use.
    Anyways after explaining what a Pentium was and explaining the development of the current Pentium 4 version.
    I asked him "Do you know why thery are changeing the name of the next chip "? The answer is that you can only fool and rip off people so many times before they wake up to your game.
    However I can argue that indeed that there are significant differences and that people are getting staggering value for their money. But why did they not bring out the current version at the begiinning especially since it was "in the works" ?
