DialOnDemand - can I delete this?

    I use OE for mail and NS 7.0 for browsing the web. I have not used AIM yet, but willl any harm arise if I delete the connection called "AOL DialOnDemand. Please do NOT delete this ". I think this might be interfering with my NIC after a interval of inactivity. Is it a DUC from the past, or is it part of NS 7.0 ?

    I don't have Netscape 7 but I do use AIM (AOL Instant Messenger) which was installed with Netscape Communicator and I DON'T have an AOL Dial on Demand" DUN connectoid.

    From what I could find with a groups.google.com search on "AOL Dial on Demand ", it is an old DUN connectoid use to connect to America Online when you open a program like Internet Explorer or Outlook Express that needs to connect to the internet. If you do not use America Online to connect to the internet then I would say, delete it. If you would rather, you could disable it:
