My connections have all disappeared from the Dial-up Networking folder. Even new connections do not appear. However, all my connections still work when my applications (Outlook and Explorer) are opened. The modem status icon will not appear in the task-bar even though the option is ticked in connection properties. How can I restore them?:(

... that was just a longshot, anyway, since usually with non-Adm users you'd see the options but are simply denied access. Probably a few arcane egistry settings somewhere. What I'd do is remove and then reinstall DUN. Easiest way to do this, I think, would be to remove the modem, reboot, reinstall the modem.

Thanks for the advice. I'll give it a go.
