    Good morning,

    well, i bought an new kit (processor and motherboard) to my computer, all instaled and working well. last night, the sound stop works, in front and back panel from DG31PR. when i open control panel - sounds window, and made any test sound, the graphics indicate the sound is running, but, dont out any sound or noise from back/front panel of onboard sound. searching in web, i discover this is an hard problem of this model ( or INTEL MoBos) and a lot of people dont fix it yet.
    in almost all cases, they are running on windows xp, some of them could fix this problem with some walkthrougths. in my case, im using Vista 32 Bits.
    so, here is the point : "Who knows how to fix this problem in windows vista ? "
    i tried :
    * reboot ( on first step )
    * remove and re-install the drivers of Audio that comes with MoBo's CD.
    * dowloaded new drivers version fron INTEL's site.
    * remove old drivers, reboot on safe mode, install new version drivers.
    * Updated my Bios Version and re-install the newever driver version from INTEL.
    * uninstall all drivers of MoBo, uninstall "Microsoft UAA Bus driver for high definition Audio" from device manager, and re-installed new drivers .

    any of this steps fixed the problem.

    computer specs :
    Windows Vista Ultimate 32Bits (SP1)
    Core 2 Quad Q8200
    DG31PR
    2x 2GB kingston DDR2 800Mhz (Dual Channel)
    Geforce 8600GT 256MB DDR3

    so ... if someone knows how to fix it , please, post here the solution / hint / link web. i'll keep searching in web for this solution.

    thx and that's all folks.
