    Worth a try.

Try disconnecting the power cord – wait 20 seconds – then plug it back in.

    Turn on the computer.

Hi deancf. Try opening up the case and check to make sure that all cables are plugged in correctly and that the power supply cables aren't loose. You could have a faulty power cable. Try replacing it and then attempt to turn on the PC.

Thanks for the info, but all connections are good, I suppose it could be a number of things. I do have a different motherboard, the same brand and model thats in the PC now. I will give that a try. have a great day, Dean

Before a complete tear down I would try another power supply.

Thanks for coming back with the follow-up. I also think the power supply should be tested/swapped out. I also wonder if there is enough power for the graphics themselves. (Example, sometimes an extra power cable is required?) Seems strange a "new" motherboard won't work.

I will mark this thread resolved.
