Something hit my keyboard and all of a sudden my desktop was sideways. The start button is in the lower right hand side, the edxit X is in the upper right. HELP ME BY E-MAIL how do I correct. I rebooted and safe came back correctly, but when booting normally again. Can't find anything about how to rotate back.

Believe me, this note is hurting my neck
    Thanbk all

Most probably a third party app. that is supplied with your Graphics card and/or drivers. Example would be Nvidia's NVRotate. Go into your Display Properties and look around.
This usless application is part of my Nvidia drivers.

I was considering this but I am using the on board video that comes with the Intel MB D845GEBV2 with extreme graphics, plus Windows 2000. I think I found the solution to this problem. I was tinkering around and found when I rebooted, hit f-8 and enabled VGA again. Blinked a bit, then went to the desktop with large icons, similar to safe mode. Rechecked all the settings again and rebooted. It all came back the way it was. It was somesthing to turn the monitor on its end to see what I could do. Strange feeling. My neck still hurts

    Thanks again for your post
