I am running XP SP2 and had no problems with it at all until about 2 weeks ago where the desktop image i have set dissapears, there is no set time to this, sometimes it can be 4 hours, sometimes 4 mins and then all i am lookin gat is the default colour of the desktop.
I am having to repeatedly right click on the desktop, select properties, hit OK and it comes back again, but i am looking for it just to say visable as it should, the jpg i am using is stored in my main HD and not in a folder.

    Any help would be great.
    Cheers

    Hi Cheech,

See if we can eliminate a bad image problem, or if it's a location issue, or a image type issue.

    Have you tried:

Another one of your .jpg's? I'm assuming yours is a non standard image.

One of the standard MS images? which are .bmp images. Do you have .bmp image you can try?

    Regards - Charles
