Hi, Is there anyway to put a Desktop icon in the quick start bar, down by the Globe on W7 like there is near the " Start" on XP. it is a pain not having one .
    Thanks Des.

    It's still there Des ;)

Look at the far right of the task bar for a silver strip, that minimises all your active windows. :)

Have you looked all the way over to the right on the startbar? There should be a sliver of a bar that when you have the mouse hover over it it will say "show desktop" and when pressed will do just that. It is all the way over even passed the clock.http://www.techfuels.com/attachment...e-windows-7-show-desktop-missing-windows7.jpg

In any case you should have "show desktop" as a right click option, when done on the start or taskbar.

First thing that comes to mind, right click Task Bar and select "Show Desktop ".
I think though the little Icon is over the right side with the little ones.
There might be other options as well, like the one in Toolbars, Desktop.

Or, press either of the Windows keys + D (d). Pressing the combination again brings you back to where you were.
