I have a 3 PC network all running Win2k, Server,Client & Client2. Client2 has a realtek RTL 8139(A) PCI NIC, 128 Meg RAM, AMD 550 running on a ASUS K7M board. When connected to the network in a Quake III game it disconnects from the network for no apparent reason. It does this if it is hosting a game or if it joins an existing game. When I try to access drive C: on Server ( shared
drive) I get the following error message: \\server\c is not accessible
not enough server storage is available to process this command.
Client and Server have problem accessing each others shared drives and Client2 can access Clients shared drives. I have checked the network properties and
they all seem to be the same. Server and Client run Linksys LNE100TX PCI NICs,
could this be a compatibility issue with the two types of NIC.
Any help would be very much appreciated

    IRPStackSize

    Thanks alot.
That seems to have taken care of the problem. Client2 did not have a registry entry for IRPStackSize, I changed all three computers to a value of 15

    Thanks again:)
