I just got an older pc here at the house with win95, nothing else came with it. I used deltree and took out everything cause win95 was corrupt beyound repair. Now I have the win2k disc and I want to install that on it. How would I do that from nothing because I can't get the pc to read the cd and like I said there is nothing on the hard drive.

Hi dissoul and welcome to BBS.

You'll need a boot disk to stick in the A: drive that will allow you access to the CD-ROM drive. You can get same here. From the selection there choose the Win98 one. (hint: the menu on the left side of that page is where you need to focus.)

Good luck and post back your progress or other needs. It will help if you give some details on that old rig like hard drive size, memory installed, and processer speed.

    Cheers. :)
