Dell Wireless 1704 802.11b/g/n (2.4GHz) & ipv6

    Hi, I was having problems connecting to my wifi. Arris SB8200 & google wifi 1st gen. A friend came over and changed a something using cmd mode & had me disable ipv-6. wifi is working now, but laptop seems to take a lot longer to fully load up now.
    Is it ok to leave ipv6 diabled or should it be enabled? My speeds are good, I disabled ipv6 first before he went into cmd. This laptop is about 11 years old.
