   Suddenly my dell laptop xps m1210's screen is dark when I turn on it.
   Windows XP, I bought this laptop in 2006.
   
   I checked AC adapter and battery, they are both good.(lighting signal is green)
   
   I connect the laptop to Sharp 1080p HDTV, the image likes below.

   Your laptop has a defective nVidia graphics processor. I believe Dell has already settled the class action suit. Get a new laptop.
