Windows XP Home Edition. How does one go about deleting the list of WMV files after clicking on "open URL" in Media Player 9?

I remember with Windows ME, you could go into the registry editor and delete the recent file list, but cannot find anything close.

BenzHead - Welcome to the Board :)

I remember with Media Player 7 there was a Powertoy to do just that - 'Most Recently Used Cleaner' - look here for Media Player 9. No guarantee that the utility is included, but worth a try. Powertoys for 7 may well work with 9.

In WMP, under Tools > Options > Privacy Tab > There is a place for History save to be Checked/Unchecked. Also there is a clear History Button there.
