Deleting Vista & Installing XP Pro

I have a two year old HP desktop that has Vista on it. I want to get rid of Vista and install XP Pro. How do I go about doing this?

Do you have Vista Home or Business installed on the PC? If it's Vista Business and you still have the HP supplied media chances are there is an XP downgrade option on the media. It means your PC will have to be trashed and XP re-installed but you'd be free of Vista.
Failing that contact HP directly. They are now offering an XP downgrade on new build machines and you may be able to purchase direct.
