Netscape 6.1 and Windows ME. Plenty of ram and free disk space.

Problem when deleting this one email it runs the move function from inbox to trash but never removes the email. Funny thing is it does put a copy in the trash but original stays in the inbox.

Have tried deleting the .msf files and recreating by openning netscape messenger. Have also created a new mail folder by creating a new user then coping the base mail folders to new profile. Email is still there. Have checked with Netscape and though very helpful so far no luck. Have looked on web but cant seem to find the right hit.

Last option would be just to create and new a new profile but if possible would rather not.

Advice would be appreciated once again. Thanks in advance.

    Hi gghartman
Admittedly, I don't use Netscape, so I don't have a clue. Did a quick search...and found this. Does it help?
If nothing else... this will pop you back up to the top where someone that does know may see it. :)

The location of the preferences is different than what it was in netscapce 4 but this is something for me to investigate based on what netscape 6 does.

And I thank you. I to dont use messenger. Dont think to highly of it.
