I'm not even sure I will be able to explain this.

I just upgraded from Outlook 2000 to 2003
When I delete an e-mail, Outlook 2000 used to scroll down to the next message below it.
Now in 2003 when I delete an e-mail, it scrolls UP to the e-mail above it.

How can I change 2003 to act like 2000 ( or even outlook express ) and have it scroll down to the next e-mail in the list when I delete an message.

I'm using 2003. I just deleted an email and the one underneath was then highlighted....I have my Inbox sorted by the "Received" date...

Unfortunately for me, that only works if I highlight the first e-mail in the list.
If I'm in the middle of the list, after I delete, it highlights the e-mail above it.

I also sort the e-mails by received

    Wahoo

    I found it.
    Tools/Options/Preferences/E-Mail Options
There you can set which way it goes after deleting.
