In the Event Viewer > Custom Views > Administrative Events I have a great number of errors listed, which I'm not interested in (they came about in the process of setting up a LAN for a bunch of outdated computers, and are not important). My question is, how can I clear the Administrative Events screen of this junk? While Windows Logs can be cleared, I can find no such action associated with Custom Views.

[My attention was brought to these bogus errors showing up in Custom Views by an aggravating support person at driversupport.com, who instead of answering my simple questions about their driver manager, was trying to convince me that those errors in Custom Views came about nefariouly (rather than in the course of my work) and, if I didn't turn control of my machine over to him for god knows what repairs it would immediately become useless "“ I couldn't convince him to look up from his script long enough to understand that the machine is and will be working fine.] - edo

It is a custom view. So if you delete/clear all your logs, there won't be anything to display there... until of course the next (Admin) event is logged.

You can see from the log details in which logs the errors are logged, so which logs you'll have to clear to get rid of 'em.

Thanks - I did look for it, but forgot to check in Thread Tools. Clueless I can be.
