I seem to have an unlimited number of pictures in the Windows Picture an Fax Viewer. I can't locate were these pictures are stored, so I could eliminate all of them at one time. I have had several sessions where I've deleted hundreds of pictures (one at a time), but every time I go back to the viewer there are more.

Actually the Windows Picture and Fax viewer is not where your pictures are located. It's merely a tool that is displaying your pictures that are contained in whatever directory you were resident in when you clicked on a picture to have it be displayed. The default behavior of the tool is to allow you to continue to browse through all of the pictures that are in the directory of residence. If you want to delete them en masse, you can easily do it using the toolbar commands in Windows when you close the Viewer. The viewer can only do individual deletions as you have found out already.

If I misunderstood what you wanted, please post back with more info to clear it up.
