    Hi,

    1) How can I delete performance counter categories from Vista?

For example, I installed SplendidCRM and uninstalled it, but these remain on the system.

    2) The same application, SplendidCRM, has left a service on my machine. How can I get rid of this? Unfortunately it is read only. :(

I have tools such as CrapCleaner, but that doesn't sort these problems out.

I use Vista Home Premium 32 bit. I know both problems are strictly linked to SplendidCRM but I am asking on here as the resolution must be Vista specific, and not specific to SplendidCRM.

    Thanks

    Download Autoruns for Windows: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx
    No installation required.
Simply unzip Autoruns.zip file, and double click on autoruns.exe file to run the program.
Click Options, then Hide Microsoft Entries.
    Click File, then Refresh.
Go File>Export As, and save AutoRuns.txt file to know location.
Paste AutoRuns.txt content into your next reply.
